Congratulations to NHS Softball and Baseball for winning the NIAA 2A Championships. Their hard work paid off and the Mustangs were able to bring home 2 more state titles this year.

NMS and Vista Colorado gave the Mustang baseball and softball teams a State Tournament send off this morning. Both teams won their first round today and will play again tomorrow.
AP Pre-Calculus had its 2nd annual Unit Circle Contest. Adryan Eastman took the crown of Unit Circle Queen by only 3 seconds over Holden Jones. Everyone did a great job!

NHS Mustang Golf placed 3rd at the NIAA State Tournament. Despite a tough first day the boys played well on day two and took third place. Great job!

Needles Unified School District was recently identified as having a Model SARB Program for its efforts in minimizing student dropouts and promoting student success. There are only 23 out of nearly 1,000 school districts that hold this honor.

Monument Peak School TK-8 spent April 30th at the Wild Life World Zoo, Aquarium, and Safari Park in Arizona. The students learned a lot and had a great time.

The NHS Golf team headed out yesterday morning to Elko, NV for their State Tournament that begins on Tuesday. NUSD wishes them the best of luck.

Yesterday at Vista Colorado Mrs. L. Martinez's class surprised Miss Kylee graduating today at Mohave Community College with her associate's degree. This was a wonderful opportunity to teach students the importance of continuing education after high school.

Mrs. L. Martinez's 2nd-grade class planted seeds in the Air Gardyn in January and wrote in their plant journal up until now. This week, they harvested their garden and enjoyed eating salad from the vegetables. They enjoyed eating their hard work!

Ms. Stuhlmiller’s class won the Tater Time Attendance Challenge at MPS. This challenge not only brought in good attendance but sparked a creative writing subject for a 7th-grade student. Congratulations!

Congratulations to our NHS Golf Team for winning the NIAA 2A South and qualifying for the State Tournament. Mustang Golf had 4 players placed in the top 5 as well. They will head to Elko, NV Sunday to represent the 2A South.
